 I was using kde for about 3 weeks and i had to restart X every couple of days because of the memory usage :( It was filling up 2gig and everything became unresponsive. I switched to xfce4 which seems to suit my needs for now.
 I tried windowmaker, but didn't like it.. I'm usually a simplistic type of guy, I would use 'nothing fancy' window managers, but this is my internet box, and I like the 'prettyness'.
