Greetings, WUUGsters.
Some of you may know Xavier Spriet, who is a developer/architect at Netmon, Inc. and a frequent contributor to this forum. He's a colleague of mine and when this opportunity came up, we thought it would be great to start with this community of passionate Unix enthusiasts before making a more public effort.
It so happens that we are looking to fill a parental leave vacancy for the position of SUPPORT TECHNICIAN.
If you or someone you know fits some or all of the following description, and lives in the Windsor area, we are looking to replace our support technician while he is off for 35 weeks on parental leave. Possibility of full time work exists at the end of this period if our sales / support volumes warrant additional staff. There will be some overlap on either end of the parental leave for training and knowledge transfer. We expect the gig to start in mid-April.
It's a great opportunity to learn how to work with a professional team of developers who follow a fairly well-developed dev process.
Please get in touch with me via e-mail at doug(at)netmon(dot)ca, with a resume, if you're interested.
Here's the job description.
