Start your n800 then tap on the icon of the four keys  mid way down on 
the left.  Tap on the second selection from the bottom on the left.  Tap 
the top selection now on the right at the top.  It has the icon of the 
wrench.  Now double tap on the selection top selection on the left of 
the lowest group, that is language and region.  The first choice in the 
new window is a pull down menu for choice of language.  Tap ok or cancel 
  and you are done.
