It is still active. It doesn't really have a central command hierarchy (truthfully, it's usually not very well organized) but for the most part since 1999 it has been "run" by Alan Laudicina, Xavier Spriet, and myself.

As far as age range goes, we've got teenagers and we've got retirees... the meetings are pretty informal and everyone is friendly. Come on out next month! If you sign up on the mailing list and/or the Facebook group, I send out notifications a few days before each meeting. Otherwise, for now, it's as noted on the front page.
