It was mostly just an informal get-together type deal. Mainly we just want to actually have meetings until we find a good place (and maybe a better schedule) so that interest stays above the cosmic-background-radiation level.

There were 5 of us there. We talked about the Nokia 770, a cool little device that runs a modified Debian and has a Nokia-endorsed OSS community. We talked about OpenSolaris. We talked about coding Python, Perl, and Ruby. We talked about web CMS systems like Drupal and Plone. We talked about jobs involving UNIX. We talked about scoring free O'Reilly books. And perhaps most importantly, if not productively, we discussed finding a better place to have our meetings so that we can get some presentations going, and maybe bring in guest speakers and stuff.
