We have one big thing in our favour at the moment and that is IBM - they hold more patents than all other tech companies combined, and I guarantee that MS is infringing on more than a few of them.

If the patent mud starts slinging, big blue has alot of mud!  Lets just hope that they stay a friend to linux and open-source.

Also - to my knowledge, Redhat has not signed any deals with MS (although they were in talks last year which broke down)..  so far its only Novel, Linspire and Xandros.
