Zer0:  I've heard about krusader - just gave it another quick look.. definitely some nice features there.

Have you seen Konqueror's profile system?  If you like a twin panel view, you just do "Split View Left/Right" under view menu, and then save that profile as "midnight commander" (for example) and set it as your default profile.  But it doesn't have support for tabs in each panel like krusader.  

Konqueror's Web shortcuts are another bonus and they work from the "Run Command.." dialog.. or from the url line.  Ex. if you want to search for "blah" on wikipedia, just type Alt-F2, "wp:blah", or for google "gg:blah".  Of course you can add your own shortcuts too.
