@ ezod: We have seen quite a few Gentoo users move to Arch! Arch has both a binary package manager and a source manager named ABS (arch build system). ABS is very easy to use, some tools that use abs have dependency support also. There's also an official community repo named AUR (Arch User Repository) that's very easy to create build from source package scripts. ABS uses a file that contains the build rules etc.. about 20-30 lines of code and if you want to build a binary package from source just sync up abs locally via CVS with the command "ABS". Very nice.

Give it a try for sure ;)

@ bradbobak: You can imagine my surprise when I read there's another arch user in WUUG! Arch seems to be getting a lot of attention lately, but another user in WUUG? What are the chances? Do you hit up the forums @ arch, if so what is you username? I just started using Arch 1 1/2 years ago myself and I love it.

@ blabj: konqueror's kioslaves are excellent! I don't personally use konq for a filemanager, have you ever tried http://krusader.sourceforge.net ?. It's a twin panel manager with great keyboard support... think of it as midnight commander for kde.

1 more question.. how do I control url's in this forum? what's the tags? Obviously I can't use attribute directly ;)
