I just found a really cool, and probably totally insecure, little app recently. It's a standalone minimal web server and wiki, incredibly easy to set up and use. You basically just run it and point your browser at it, and there's no authentication.

I use it as an internal board at home. I run it on a Gentoo box, so I wrote an init script for it and added it to the default runlevel (it runs under its own user and group), created a /var directory for its files, and wrote a cron job to back up the files each day (since there's no way to revert changes). I'd write an ebuild for it, but it would probably get hardmasked for being insecure.
