Of course! We welcome UNIX users of all skill levels and all ranges of interest. Most of our members more or less fit the description you gave of yourself: home users of Linux with a few years' experience under their belts.

There's no active membership system in the current incarnation of WUUG; the best thing to do is keep checking this board and our website, and sign up for the mailing list. If we can find a place, we'll be starting meetings again in January, and we hope to see you there.
